I received Google Adsense cheque in Dollars payable at CitiBank, New York. But I can see your cheque was drawn in rupees and payable in India…
ICICI Bank says… it will charge Rs 500 as commission…
@ A Raheja !
Ankur this is mainly because you forgot to select your primary or receiving currency as rupees so Google as sent you in Dollars. Since my cheque is in INR they didn’t commissioned me but if its in dollar there are some exchange rates applicable but commissions are just meant for out nation cheques. you musk ask someone before giving commission as i think thats not usual.
I think INR option was not there, when I opened the account… maybe added later, thats why it remained so…
Now I have changed it !!!
Thanks…
