Do you love Windows Classic Theme ?

Are you obsessed with Windows Classic Theme ? Then you are one of my category. We classic lovers who are very classic in Windows GUI but not in Technology do really have a similar taste. Like the sun sign theory we do have our own reasons.
Here are the reasons why i use classic theme in Windows XP :
- I personally wanted to avoid those bulky task bar and kids kind of color.
- The Classic theme gives me pleasant Environment, Working Atmosphere and a Clear type interface.
- I am passionate about the Windows 95,98 and NT Gui and still wanted the same.
- When you make up your mind and decide that “Its not about looks its about the performance“.
- Windows Luna theme uses more megabytes of Ram then Classic and needs the Themes services to be run, but when using Windows Classic theme you can disable the Themes service.
PS: I decided to use the Windows Classic Theme even when i switch to Windows Vista.
Feel free to expound your reasons in the comments for using Windows Classic as your theme.

I hate the default Windows XP theme, and then I switched to the Classic one.
Later, I got the Vista Transformation Pack and so I got the Vista look on my PC. Now, I read this post, and switched back to the Classic. It surely gives a working atmosphere.

I also love the Windows Classic Theme but when first switched to the Classic Theme on Vista I was shocked, it looks horrible now. The worst is the area where the Address Bar is in.

Windows classic theme gives me a working atomosphere.. i dont especially like windows vista theme… i still thought of using classic even when i switch to vista but now i hear it looks horrible… this is another good reason why i am still not switching to Windows Vista..

Very good idea Sankar. Don’t ever switch to Windows Vista unless you really have to. Yesterday – that makes four days after installing Vista – I got the first Blue Screen error.

Yeah, Windows Classic theme is superior. Performance is much better, and I work off of an older laptop and I upgraded it to XP for the features and at first the looks, but I’m relieved that it has the classic theme available for use, much cleaner look and better feel. If you want eye candy, get a Mac, they actually have the power and technology for eye candy and excellent performance at the same time.
