BSNL Broadband Tariffs Revised from Jan 2007

You all might be aware about BSNL announcing the 2 Mbps upgrade in my recent post and now one of our blog reader pointed out the new revised tariff w.e.f 1st january 2006. For all those who believed that its a hoax, here is my surprise treat.
The following are the revised plan for BSNL Dataone broadband customers:
And for the Business Plans:
Unlimited Home 900 customers doesn’t have this up gradation of bandwidth. So there will be another revised plani for 900 plan customers. This new year i am expecting valuable comments from BSNL Customers on their experience, speed etc trying the bandwidth speed.

Not happy..!
I want increased bandwidth for Home UL 900 plan
Let’s see how much uptime they can give..!! Anyways its a good news that u can use the increased bandwidth at only 250/- per month. i mean its very cheap., but the download (1GB)limit is very less.
BSNL has announced this year as broadband year, so hope to get some more interesting schemes from them. i am expecting some more news at this blog., Sankar KEEP DIGGING the story.

I don’t like the Night Unlimited timings i.e (0200-0800Hrs) that is really wierd atleast it should starts from 2200Hrs.

Are the 2mbps plans being offered to new customers? or were they only for the existing customers as a ‘new year gift’ as they say?
mtnl has not updated the pages for the tariffs so this is very unclear.

we are planning to take 2mbps of internet connection with 1:2 type so inform me the full charges with unlimited download and usage with all charges

i have a query actually i am using the bsnl broadband 500home plan,so if i m logging from 01:00 AM so then when the haapy hours starts(2-8am free download)at that time i have to disconnect the broadband and connect again to after 2am to use the happy hour or if i m not logging of n continiously loging to the broadband then after the usgae my happy hours downlaods will reduse from whole usage of data or not???
or i have to login after 2am ??????????
plz relpy as soon as possible.

i opt dataone connection 10 days back with basic phone connection
as i am not aware of plans ,i go with the start up plan, i don know abt the limits, now i know that i can use only 1 gb in one month
currently i am using 250 home plan but i would to change it for 500 home plan…
i can i change it… do i have to apply for new connection…
actualy the main prob is that net and phone connection belong to my dad name
and he is not in the city now and probably he come back after 2-3 months…
so if i tell bsnl executives to change the tariff they ask for the owner permission which i am not able to give them ryte now…
but i don want to continue with this 250 home plan coz the usage limit is too low and it cross limit in a week only
so is dere any way to change the tariff online so that i can log with my id and pass and request bsnl to change or amend my current plan to home 500

@ krish you dont have to logout. the happy hours will not reduce from your usage

Bsnl customer care is a piece of S*T. the proper procedure is not known by themselves then how could customers know it ? the only way is to approach the office and contact the manager.

I got the bill of dated 06-03-2008 for Rs 898 withought surcharge I paid this bill with penalty in 12-03-2008 then i got the bill for Dated 06-03-2008 of Rs 1386.I want to know that did you include the previous bill in current bill or not

Hi Shankar!! Plzzzz help me doud!! I ve 250 start up plan. How much hours could i use internet so that my uses does not go beyond 1gb.(hours in months and daily) and how to know my uses and speed? (i usually download some new songs,small games,5-20mb software and visist some sites). I am waiting for your reply. Thanks!!

i have start up plan 250 and when i checked my usage i found in the heading writen as downloads excluding night downloads. So does that mean there is free download hrs for 250 start up plan.

i am new user of bsnl start up plan 250. i got connection 2 months bak only. since i am using only yahoo messenger video chatting. iam not surfing anything. but i received first bill around 3500rs. there they mentioned details optional services and miscellaneous charges instead of mentioning usage charges i dont know this is the usage charges or not? how can i get the information is this i have used it for the chatting only. i am using 2 hours per day messneger. almost 70 hours in a month i am using. can u tel me how much will be my usage in a month?

I would like to know the meaning of ‘chargable units excluding nights unlimited’ which I found written in the bsnl broadband account management usage details for the Startup plan of Rs. 250 per moth for 1GB download. I would also like to know the nights unlimited hours time limit.Is it applicable to my account.
